Happy Thanksgiving!

                                        Have a great Thanksgiving

with lots to be thankful for

What’s the smallest thing you’re thankful for? What’s the largest?

I’m thankful for mitochondria and other subcellular structures that make life possible, and for elephants. I’m fond of elephants.

I’m thankful we don’t have to watch out for dinosaurs, and that crocodiles don’t live wild in Idaho.

What are you thankful for?

Horse Laughter

Most horses have a great sense of humor.

What do horses laugh about? There's a story behind this picture. The catch is, you have to write it.

Veteran's Day Thanks

 Thank you, Veterans!

Every Veteran has stories that would make your blood run cold, even if they are only about the tribulations of Boot Camp. Write a serious or amusing story about an experience you had or heard about. Sadly, there is great scope for black humor here.

Please understand that I'm not making light of our service women and men's sacrifices. Hug your veteran and honor them by keeping their stories alive.

Thank you, Ron, Amy, Vickie, Rock, Doug, McKinley, Josh, Dave, David, Bill, George, Joe, Helen, and many many more who gave so much.

Why Wolves and Whales?

 Why Wolves and Whales?

        Because I love them!

And I love including them in my books, Ask the Wolf and the trilogy, Bless the Whales.

Some of the characters in my soon-to-be-released novel, Ask the Wolf, happen to be wolves. Awesome McKenzie Valley wolvesthe largest wolves of all.

       The story’s about:

                        A lost child

                               missing mom

                                       And a wolf.

                        What does the wolf know?

Alyson Zavala is five the first time the wolf rescues her. As she

grows up, her quest to find her mother takes her to dangerous

places—and leads to startling discoveries about herself. Who

is she? And who—or what—is the wolf?

I'll notify you know as soon as Ask the Wolf is

                  available in online bookstores.

If all goes well, that will be next week.

I’m currently editing the first novel in the trilogy, Bless the

Whales. It’s titled, Save a Sealion. The other two Bless the

Whales books are in rough draft stages.

Do you need a reason to love wolves?

Wolf puppies are way beyond adorable.

This wolf pup is from a Ranger Rick magazine. If you have kids or grand-kids who love animals, give them a Ranger Rick subscription. The wolves will thank you. Aah-ooooooh!
